Chimene Vaughan
Senior Associate
My professional and personal background has provided me with the skills and expertise to help my family law clients through what is often the most difficult and emotionally challenging time in their lives. I am, by nature, compassionate and approachable, and I endeavour to ensure these traits are reflected in all dealings with my clients. I also try to create and communicate realistic expectations throughout the process.
I offer practical and easy to understand assistance in pre- and post-separation situations, and I enjoy connecting people with additional support to facilitate moving forward in their new lives and relationships. I have tertiary qualifications in law and commerce, including specific commercial skills to assist in complex property matters. I am passionate about helping separating couples make arrangements for their children, and having recently become a mother myself, I remain conscious of preserving relationships as far as possible for the benefit of the family unit.
When I am not at work or engaged in the chaos of maintaining a busy household, I love spending time with my family, my Labrador and my cat, and I make the most of every opportunity to take the crew away on camping trips in the beautiful Victorian countryside (rain, hail or shine).
